A NOTE ABOUT THIS COMING WEEK'S HOURS:
We are sorry to say we will have to be closed during the early part of this coming week to take care of facility enhancements needed in our kitchen area. Unfortunately, we have had some unexpected challenges here over the past few months due to the age and condition of the building. (We aren't sure how old all of the pieces of the original structure are, but know the building itself has been there for well over 100 years.) While we tried to retain as much of the original material as was possible during our initial construction, some of it has just not been able to hold up to commercial restaurant use. We expect that the planned repair work, though time-consuming now, will last us for many years to come.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL CLOSE EARLY AT 11:00 AM THIS SUNDAY, May 6th, and assuming all goes according to plan, WE WILL REOPEN ON THURSDAY, May 10th at 6:00am. We will be closed all day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Trying to make the best of this little speed bump, we will be utilizing the downtime with our team for education and training sessions, maybe a little experimentation with new flavors, and to make some tweaks to our current recipes. We look forward to coming back to you on Thursday at 110% - repaired, refreshed and better than ever!
On a more exciting note, this week we launched a new menu initiative in an effort to be more transparent with our pastry offerings. We know it can be hard to keep up with your favorite flavors when they change day to day, so we will now offer the same menu for an entire week at a time, and post the flavors online each Monday for that week. Some things may stay on consistently week to week, but most will change out. You can find the menu on our social accounts or here on our website.
Let us know of any tasty flavor combinations that you've had in the past, or of any crazy ones you want us to try and you might just see it listed on a future menu! We are passionate about trying to maximize flavor and creativity with each and every donut we bring to you.
